About Me
Background
- I am an experienced transcriptionist in Legal (15 years as a legal secretary), Medical (10+ years in higher education schools of medicine), and General transcription (dictation, meetings, lectures, conference calls, etc.).
- I have worked for 3 major types of institutions: law firms, corporations and education.
- My law firm experience includes personal injury, real estate, mergers & acquisitions, international corporate, criminal, medical malpractice, worker's compensation, and probate. With that, I also have extensive trial preparation and procedural experience.
- Corporate industries include accounting, banking, advertising, marketing, automotive (including, OEM tire sales), and manufacturing (specifically, airplane).
- My most recent connection has been in the education sector. I have worked at 2-year and 4-year colleges and universities in such diverse areas as medical schools (bioethics), dental schools, HR, arts & sciences, marketing and communications, and public policy, as well as offices of the president.
- Within medicine, I have also had direct exposure to research through clinical trials/studies, research grants, hospital committees, as well as departments of office of the president, obstetrics and gynecology, AIDS research, cardiology, social medicine, and nursing.
- With such a broad range of professional experience, I feel confident that I can meet your needs with simple, and more complex, projects.

- Non-verbatim: clean transcript minus all of the verbal ticks—the“ums,” “ahs,” “likes,” and “you knows” and stutter starts, interjections and signs of active listening (mm-hmm, okay, etc.)

I will deliver the transcripts by Dropbox or as you direct. When you are satisfied or I haven’t heard otherwise,
I will invoice you through Paypal so that you can make the payment there in the invoice.
The terms are due upon receipt unless prearranged.
